EMC is accredited to the NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) under ISO 17025:2005 as a multi-disciplinary calibration laboratory. NABL signed the MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangement) to the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation) in the year of 2000 and EMC received its first accreditation in the year of 2001.

EMC has a sister concern named IIM (Institute of Instrumentation and Metrology) which is a private run ITI and a knowledge sharing VTP institute. As a bench mark of quality, it has received the accreditation to the NABET (Nation Accreditation Board of Education & Training).

EMC is an MSME awardee of 2008 and its sister concern named IIM – ITI runs a number of technical courses in collaboration with the MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises)
